MiraCosta College’s Oceanside Campus is located on a 121-acre hilltop site with panoramic views of the ocean and the mountains.
The campus opened in 1964 and now serves nearly 11,000 students each semester. Offering a full spectrum of classes leading to an associate degree, certificate or transfer to a four-year university, the campus is home to several recently constructed or remodeled state-of-the-art facilities, including a child development center; a creative arts complex; a 430-seat concert hall; a 240-seat theatre; a horticulture complex; a library & information hub; and a student center that houses a bookstore, the Kruglak Art Gallery, a cafeteria, and offices for student activities and clubs.
In addition to its credit program, the college also offers noncredit, fee-based Community Services workshops for enjoyment and career training, plus has a thriving online program.
The Oceanside Campus is conveniently located off Highway 78, and is easily accessed by public transportation such as NCTD buses and the Sprinter commuter train.
