I started in Mortgage in 1978, quite by accident. My first position was a receptionist. I fell in love with the busines and made a desicion to learn every aspect of it. I stared with processing loans, then underwriting and, eventually, I became an Executive Vice President of Operations. During a slow time in the business, I took a look at what I liked best about Mortgage, and realized I missed working with people. I also missed the creativity of putting together a loan for underwriter review. This was the time I made the decision to make a complete change and do what I love the most. I decided to go back to procesing and originating loans. There was a gentleman that I had worked with in the past. He called and wanted to talk to me about working with him. It was a great opportunity to do both. I love that mortgage is always changing and you are always learning. I did semi-retire for a couple of years, but after looking into a Reverse Mortgage for myself, the more I realized that a Reverse Mortgage could really help some people. So, I went back to work full-time to specialize in Reverse Mortgage. The main goals of my working with this Mortgage is to make sure people are educated on the product and make sure they are taken care of.
