Mathnasium of Oceanside North

My 2nd grader was struggling with the common core math. We couldn't really help her because we didn't understand it ourselves. I went to Mathnasium and she got a free assessment to see where she was struggling. I signed her up and it has helped her and given her so much more confidence in math. She actually enjoys going and likes her tutors very much. Her grades on homework and tests have improved so much. The director Nita is very accommodating to homework help and studying for a test. She also checks in and asks how things are going to make sure everything is going ok with her school work. With COVID and online school schedules she has also been very accommodating. If your child needs help don't hesitate and give them a try!

My kids have been coming here for additional math enrichment for the last month. They love their math sessions and look forward to them all week. They are a lot more confident with mental math!

My son has had a wonderful experience here and his grades are reflecting that. The instructors helped tailor a plan for us and adjusted it as needed. Algebra has become something my son can manage and his confidence is sky high. My expectations were met and more than exceeded.

Mathnasium of Oceanside has been a life saver for my granddaughter. She is becoming much happier at school and noticeably more relaxed and confident. Her confidence shows the n more areas than math. The greatest gift to her I think is that she is learning to trust that. She can set her mind to something and make progress. I am so incredibly grateful that we found Nita and her program.

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for the past 4 months or so and the results have been amazing. She was really struggling but now her confidence is so high and she is getting 90% or higher on her tests in school. Nita is wonderful along with all the other tutors. We can't say enough about how much we love it here.

I had my daughter here for about 6 months and it seemed to work well. Nita works with you as best as possible and makes sure she knows the parents well. I am only stopping her from this tutoring because of the price. It's really expensive for a single mom, I'll try another though to continue the help for my daughter. If price isn't a issue for you then you'll be happy here.

My daughter's math skill improved rapidly just within a few months of going to Mathnasium! The owner and her team is very nice and knowledgeable, always willing to communicate with us and help us meet our goal. Highly recommend this Mathnasium Center!

Nita has a superb team of math tutors and we wish we would have started sooner! Our child was given a personalized learning plan and he meets online with a Mathnasium tutor 3x weekly. They do an incredible job of helping him understand and build math fluency. It has been incredible to watch his math confidence grow thanks to the personalized program! We've also been really impressed with their online learning setup.

My third grader joined Mathnasium last year pre-COVID after we learned about the Center at our back to school night. My son loves math but we wanted to make sure he was really learning the fundamentals, something that schools aren't always able to ensure. On the first day, they gave him a diagnostic assessment to measure his baseline and created a plan for him to follow to get him to where he needed to be for his grade level. The sessions were exciting for my son because he got to earn stars at the end of each session which he collected in order to earn a prize. When COVID started, we switched to an online platform and were able to continue participating in the program. I think it really helped him stay on top of where he needed to be for math when the rest of the school system was struggling to transfer to a virtual landscape. My son recently took a diagnostic assessment for his class and he scored early third grade math level which is right where he needs to be. His teacher explained that a lot of the other students are at a second grade level - likely an effect from last semester. This alone validated our choice to continue to send our child to Mathnasium. It's incredibly reassuring that despite all of the uncertainty with schooling right now, I know my child will be okay in math. Ms. Nita is great at communicating my son's progress with me and checking in to see how things are going with school so that she can try to align what she's seeing through Mathnasium with what the teacher may think he needs from school. The staff are also engaging and keep math fun for my son. The ability to schedule sessions through an online appointment platform is so convenient. I highly recommend Mathnaisum!

Mathnasium in Oceanside is awesome! Nita the owner fine tunes the program to find out what personally motivates your child. They get math homework done on site, use positive reinforcement, and do not assign homework. We had done Kumon before and found that added homework made my son resist going there. However he loves Mathnasium and even requests a late pick up so he can learn to play chess. We love their family days too! This math program has given my son confidence!
