Yummy food. Large portions. Leftovers were just as good the next day. Thank-you for the great service and tasty food!

Didn't feel like cooking and wanted Mexican food. Found this place on Yelp. Good reviews and nice looking pictures, so we decided to check it out.
When you first walk in, the menu is to the right, not straight ahead by the register. We ordered a carne asada burrito, bean & cheese chimichanga with guacamole & sour cream & chips with cheese. It came to $40.
Our food came out. Presentation was good.
Let's start with the chips and cheese. Really good. The chips were light and crispy. Wish there had been a tad more cheese throughout the chips, but still good.
We ordered the carne asada burrito with just meat and cheese. It could have made two meals. The meat was tender and flavorful.
The bean & cheese chimichanga was really big. The rice & beans were good but had to give to my husband because it was too much for me. My chimichanga was good. Could have been a little crispier because it was filled with beans.
Will defiantly be back when in the area.

Disappointing over priced, thrown together and no flavor. I paid 45 dollars for 6 fish tacos for my lady and myself. Only one creepy guy working handing money and food. I could only hope he washed his hands after touching money. Won't be returning.

Service was wonderful, food not so much. We love mexican food, but not this. We ordered a chicken and beef taco plate to go with beans and rice. My husband ordered two shredded street tacos and a side of rice. Food looked smashed or smooshed even though we are right around the corner from the restaurant and opened the containers immediately. Everything was floating in grease, the double taco shell would have been nice, but even the grease saturated both shell layers. The picture is the one beef taco left we threw out. It is pricey. Two taco dinner for 17 bucks to go. Hubby said his street tacos just ok, fell apart and had to eat it with a fork.

I'll drive past at least 10 other Mexican food places closer to my home to get my food from here.
Typically, I call in my order ahead of time and get takeout, and never once has my order been wrong or missing items.

So disappointing! Was thrown off by seeing 4 stars. In the entire San Diego area, the worst Mexican still seems celebrated so it is hard to avoid the mediocre . Am still looking for truly great crispy beef tacos with great flavor. Not here, not at all.
This food is typically the heavy handed Mexican fare, and just not really tasty. The shell of the tacos was fried, and dripping with oil, still limp and not crispy as requested and confirmed by counter staff Beans tasted bad, and rice is just rice.
Pricey for poor quality fare also!! Storefront on a mall.
Disappointed in this one for sureand not inclined to trust local reviews for Mexican food, a cuisine I know and love, when it is well prepared.

Found a really delicious Mexican restaurant, it's small and super busy with locals. Very casual, you self order at counter, they bring it to your table and there are tables inside and outside. Home feel, good and friendly service. I had the Chile Verde combo plate, large serving of food with hot fresh tortillas. Only downside you have to pay for chips and they have a good salsa bar.

If you haven't tried this 'hole in the wall' Mexican food restaurant-YOU NEED TO! It's a great place to get delicious breakfast burritos when you're heading to work in the morning or any other burrito you're craving during the day. TODAY, I ordered the Cali Burrito for lunch. Had to split it so I don't have a food coma later. HAHA!! The burritos are so fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. You'll want this your go-to spot as well! :)

Terrible service. Greasy (not in a good way) food. The woman at the front was beyond rude. I'm talking I walked in and asked for a simple Carne Asada burrito no beans or rice and she rolled her eyes to her friend. Then order came out wrong I politely told them and excused it. It was my first time here so I wasn't sure if I was to serve myself the salsa or if they had to go one's ready. She got irritated again and it was such an awkward experience. I worked a 12 hour day so I was hungry and did not want to deal with anything extra. I get home and the food is sopping in grease. Tortillas are mush. $13 dollar burrito and it's trash. Also...$13 burrito?!
I Will never go again. We live in San Diego there are farrrrr better places to choose from than this. I work in service so I get some days are rough but I was floored that I was treated like such an inconvenience when their shop was dead.

Los Amigos is part of the greatest family tradition my husband and I have : Crispy Taco Night. If either of us have a particularly bad day we call an audible and get crispy beef tacos from Los Amigos with a bunch of red salsa. Their tacos have saved me dozens of times over the last 5 years.

But don't get me wrong, there is more to Los Amigos than crispy tacos (breakfast burritos anyone?). Their staff is amazing and everything is delicious.

I live right next to their second location which just closed and I am DEVASTATED I can't just walk over anymore. Luckily they are 100% worth the drive.
