Core Association Management

As president of the Homeowners Association at Orchard Lane Condominiums in Oceanside, I am pleased share my experiences with our management company, CORE. Orchard Lane is a 50-year old common interest property built in 1973, and we have our share of challenges associated with age and upcoming large maintenance projects. CORE has been instrumental in helping the Board develop a funding strategy to maximize our Reserves to be prepared for the improvements. CORE has a large network of vendors that can be engaged to maintain the day-to-day operations of the community on a regular basis and in emergencies. In addition, CORE's president, Andrew Andrioff, has provided support for us through an on-site "Board Member Boot Camp" in April and will follow up with "New Laws and Legislation" in May and "Recognizing and Avoiding Fair Housing Claims" in June. For a Board with four brand new Directors, I appreciate this resource. During 2023 CORE experienced some growing pains as they made adjustments to their office procedures and outsourced their accounting department, but the bumps have been smoothed out in 2024. Core management has been a great property management company from my experience in the last year and a half. I have worked with Tafu or Andrew whenever I have had an issue. They are easy to contact via phone or email and are very professional. Whether I have a maintenance request or a question, I'm always greeted with a smile and great customer service.

I'd give 0 stars if possible... company is literally a joke.. really poor customer service and work service and also doesn't care about it's customers.. BEWARE

0 stars. I've lived in plenty of HOAs and have never encountered a worse HOA management company. By far. During a storm in January 2023, I had water come through my ceiling and damage my unit. I immediately reported this to Core Management, and it's now April as I type this... Core Management has not lifted a finger. I am now having to work directly with the HOA liability insurance carrier to get all the damage repaired. Also, because it has been so long since the initial damage, I now have mold in my unit. Still no response from Core Management. Andrew Andrioff is the negligent individual who runs the company. At the end of the day, this is now costing our HOA significantly more than it would have been if Core Management had addressed the situation when initially reported. The difference between a few grand, versus now having to pay the entire $10k deductible on our policy to remove the entire wall where my damage is due to the mold. Holy negligence!

The management company above isn't what it seems. They don't do the things needed for their customers. High fees for little return. Most of the issues are never addressed because the management company is working on other issues. This management company has a lot of issues, I would seek a better management company for the money you're paying Core.

Since we moved into our condo in Oceanside at the beginning of the year, Core Management has been very responsive, answering all our questions and concerns in a timely fashion. Highly recommend them!
