Event Description: Lighthouse Christian Church celebrates their 50th Anniversary on Sunday, November 13th with two worship services at 9 am and 11 am. The services will feature special music by their Praise Team, Children’s Choir, and a performance by “Light”, a singing group from the California Baptist University. There will also be a video chronicling 50 years of Transforming Lives. Continuing the Sunday celebration, at 11:00am and 12:45pm BBQ lunch will be served on the patio. The meal will be catered by Pacific Trails Catering, and will include barbecued chicken and tri-tip, fresh green salad, cowboy potatoes and corn on the cob, with peach cobbler and ice cream for dessert. Music will be performed during lunch featuring “The Get Down Boys”, a bluegrass band from Los Angeles. Tickets for the event will be available through November 6th. Suggested donation is $7.00 per person, or $20.00 per family of 3-5 people. Seating for the luncheon is limited; contact the church for advance ticket information.
