Event Description: Tattoo artists present their fine art during an exhibition featuring new works by Chris Winn, Sam Phillips, Sarah Spinks, Hunter Feirich, Rob Benavides, Ben Grillo, Jackie Dunn Smith, Micah Caudle, Dominic Vasquez, and Luke Wessman. In response to the Masterworks of Body Art: Traditional Tattooing in America, a live tattoo runway event on September 24 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Chris Winn of Winn Tattoos curated this exhibit to highlight the artwork rarely seen by tattoo artists. When they are not working with the human canvas, these artists create paintings and drawings mostly in the watercolor media, inspired by the bright, primary colors, clean, bold outlines, and simple designs typical of body art.
