Event Description: The Oceanside Museum of Art is pleased to offer our special group Film Festival package. We will be spending 3 nights at the Best Western Las Brisas Hotel on Indian Canyon Drive. The hotel offers a daily, complimentary, American style breakfast. Our downtown hotel is close to several movie venues, walking distance to restaurants and within blocks of the Palm Springs Art Museum, shops and galleries on Palm Canyon Road. Attend our pre-trip party at the museum on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10:00am to meet your fellow travelers and receive festival tips and help with on-line voucher redemption. Select films from the newspaper program or preview the films on the Palm Springs Film Festival web site where you may exchange six vouchers for tickets in advance, or redeem your vouchers at the box office at the festival. On your arrival you will receive a souvenir Film Festival Program highlighting the films and offering festival maps and Palm Springs sight seeing information. Our first night Welcome Cocktail party will be held on a private patio at the hotel this year. A new time for the Welcome Reception is scheduled from 4:00pm – 5:30pm. In addition, due to popular response, we will be offering the complimentary private docent tour of the Palm Springs Art Museum again in 2012.
