Event Description: Come enjoy a weekend of music and community support as we attempt to SAVE MUSIC for 10,000 kids in the Vista Unified School District. The 10,000 students currently enrolled in the Vista Elementary School Music Program stand to loose their music program if we do not raise $400,000 for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year. The Save Vista Music Fest will take place at the magnificent state-of-the-art Moonlight Amphitheatre located in the delightful city of Vista May 6, 7 & 8. A short 1-hour drive from Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and San Bernardino counties. Proceeds from this Festival go to support the 2011-2012 school year elementary music programs in Vista California. Save Vista Music Fest will feature 15 acts over 3 days May 6, 7, & 8. Kumar Managements line-up includes a mix of Cumbia, Son Jarocho, Pop, Rock, R&B and Jazz. Artist line up: Friday May 6,2011: Paloma Michelle, Vilma Diaz y La Sonora, Encuentros Saturday (morning) May 7, 2011: 5 special school performances from VUSD Student at the AVO Playhouse also located in Vista CA. Saturday (evening) May 7, 2011: LexTee-Baby, Oversoul, Cool Breeze, Valerie Pierce and the Smokestaxx Sunday May 8, 2011: Au Naturel, Tony Dettore, and the Johnson Project. Doors open at 6pm.
