Event Description: Oceanside Museum of Art presents a new museum experience, Military Comedy Night at the Museum on May 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prepare to laugh your socks off as award winning comedian Mike Dittamo performs his signature comedy show blended with a mix of military-themed jokes and mirthful stories of his experiences guaranteed to be an instant hit. Along with his hilarious performance, delicious hors d'oeuvres from local Italian restaurant Carbonara will start the night off at 7:00 p.m. A no host bar will also be in house serving beer and wine. Admission is $10 and $5 for OMA members and all military and their dependents. Reservations can be made by calling 760.435.3720. Open seating is on a "first-come" basis, there is no reserved seating. Content is for mature audiences only, guests must be 18+. In addition to the show, guests will have the opportunity to view four exhibitions on view: Painting World War II: The California Style Watercolor Artists, Plastic Fantastic: Allison Renshaw, The Things They Carried: World War II Trench Art, and Painting the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
