Event Description: The Oceanside Public Library's Big Read program features a screening of the surf movie "Between the Lines". Narrated by acclaimed writer and director John Milius (Apocalypse Now), this movie offers unique insight into the dramatic effect that the Vietnam War and draft had on two young American surfers. Surfboards used in the movie are currently on loan from the California Surf Museum and are displayed in the Civic Center Library. This event is free and open to the public.
