Event Description: A non-competitive and not timed 5K walk for raise funds for CVDF’s free programs and services and to raise awareness of healthy life-styles to fight the #1 killer of men and women: Heart Disease. Fun family event! Complimentary health screenings & healthy food! Live band! Great prizes! Face painting! Kids medals! Warm up with a light aerobic work-out at 9:30 am, and then join us and Carlsbad Mayor “Bud” Lewis and Oceanside Mayor Jim Wood at 10 am for a walk along the beach taking in the beautiful coastal scenery. Walk entry fee $25, $20 in advance. Kids 12 & under Free Register online at www.WalkForLife.us Walk as a Team and win prizes! Show your Team Spirit! Win Prizes for Largest Team, Most Funds Raised, & Best Decorated Banner!
