Event Description: Every corporation, homeowner association and many other non-profit groups need to keep minutes of their Board's decisions as required by law. Now there is a workshop developed and produced by Willeen Hasler & Associates of Oceanside for many years at local colleges, chambers of commerce, community groups and homeowner associations. She is a Parliamentarian and Meeting Recorder for homeowner associations, corporations, chamber of commerce, and many non-profit organizations including churches; and, has a Community College Teaching Credential for office management topics. The information provided will include "Robert's Rules of Order," how to prepare meeting agendas, minutes and many other details to help organizations and meeting recorders with tested and tried information for successful meetings and minutes. Three associates of Ms. Hasler will also participate, including: Victoria Cohen, a Parliamentarian and Meeting Recorder from El Cajon, Jackie Windes, a Meeting Recorder & Notary Republic recently from Orange County, and Marleen Wight of Oceanside who recently retired from an office position of 20 years at Camp Pendleton. Participants will receive a 100+ page workbook, a copy of Robert's Rules of Order's "ABC's of Parliamentary Procedures," and many illustrations and written materials that can be used in any professional office in San Diego County.
