Event Description: The Veterans Association of North County (VANC) is sponsoring a free Veterans Benefits and Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27, 2018 at the VANC Resource Center located at 1617 Mission Avenue in Oceanside. This Veterans Benefit and Community Resource Fair will highlight the many resources that are available to all Veterans and active duty service members in the San Diego North County community. San Diego North County has many diverse Veteran organizations and vast resources; these include job search assistance, education benefits, VA medical care and many others such as diving certifications and firefighting training. Free food and drinks will be provided and the Fair will also feature a number of community leaders who actively support Veteran causes. The VANC seeks to honor and support those who have served our country, bridging the past, present, and future. VANC is a vibrant gathering place in North San Diego County, where all Veterans, active-duty military, and their loved ones can reach out for help and community. VANC is working with other organizations that serve the military community and through activities like the Veterans Benefits and Resource Fair in order to make San Diego North County the most Veteran friendly community in America!
