Event Description: Walk4ALZ is San Diego's premier event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Join Alzheimer's San Diego and more than 1,000 local families walking to end San Diego’s third leading cause of death. Alzheimer’s disease is an epidemic in San Diego and every day more San Diegans are touched by the disease. There is currently no treatment or cure and it is a disease that not only affects the diagnosed individual, but also takes a heavy toll on those who love and care for them. The Alzheimer’s San Diego team is committed to serving families as they face this difficult journey, while helping to advance local research for a cure.
