Event Description: Join us at the Civic Center Library, 330 North Coast Highway, for an exciting Franklin Haynes Marionette Puppet Halloween show on Saturday, October 22 at 3:00 p.m. in the Community Rooms. The colorful, interactive, and child friendly marionette puppets, with animated moving eyes, mouths and eyebrows, stand about 18-20 inches tall and perform right out in front of the audience. You will gasp as Punky pulls off his pumpkin head and juggles it with his hands, then his feet! Calvin is dressed up like a ghost, but who is afraid of who? Boney Jones, with his top hat and cane, literally dances his bones right off! Smarmy, the comical wicked witch, ends the show with a bang and a flash puff of smoke from her black cauldron as she sings her last note riding on her magic broom. The Franklin Haynes Marionette Puppet show ‘Hilarious Halloween Haunt’ is free and open to children of all ages. Kids, wear your Halloween costume for a special treat!
