Event Description: The essential relationship between human connection and maintaining sobriety is well documented and widely promoted in treatment centers and Twelve Step programs. What's rarely discussed is how human connection actually works, and why the mere thought of something that is supposed to heal can feel at best counterintuitive, and at worst, downright excruciating. This three part lecture series is designed to answer that mystery for anyone who has been baffled by their own social behavior. Please join the larger community for a free, in-depth presentation of the interpersonal neurobiology of connection, the essential role of boundaries in the process of change, and specific ways to incorporate the knowledge into your already existing program of recovery.
