Event Description: The Friends of Women’s Resource Center is celebrating 10 years of advocacy of “LOVE FOR A CHILD” on Thursday, October 13, 6 – 9PM, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 6450 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad. At this special dinner District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis will be the Keynote Speaker and CBS 8 News Anchor, Dan Cohen will serve as Master of Ceremony. Pre-paid reservations of $75 per person, are due by October 5th, and may be made by calling Blake Kern at (760)439-0928, or on-line http://www.wrcsd.org/events The Mission of Friends of WRC is to provide positive, enriching and memorable experiences for the children residing in the WRC transitional and shelter housing through fund raising and advocacy activities.
