Event Description: The Oceanside Public Library will host the League of Women Voters of North County San Diego, as they present a community conversation about the United States’ election system at the Oceanside Public Library, Civic Center Library Foundation Room, 330 N. Coast Highway, Oceanside, on Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. The July 16th presentation, “Elections the American Way,” will offer community members a chance to better understand the conflicts of the U.S. political primaries and presidential election system; and to learn more about the system’s history and current practices. Members of the public are invited to attend this free, community event; no registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
