Event Description: Democratic Club of Carlsbad-Oceanside meeting Sat., Jan. 23, 10 am, 3320 Monroe St., Carlsbad (Woman’s Club of Carlsbad Bldg., across from CHS Athletic Stadium). Speaker: Dr. Linda Gonzales, former school superintendent, and nationally known advocate for literacy and learning at all economic levels. Complimentary refreshments. Guests welcome.

Highway 5 to C'bad Vill. Dr., East 4 traffic lights to Monroe St. Turn R. Woman's Club of C'bad Mtg. Place is 2 short blocks on left (east side), across from CHS Athletic Stadium.
