Event Description: MiraCosta Horticulture Club Meeting The MiraCosta Horticulture Club will meet January 9th at 12:30PM, at MiraCosta College, One Barnard Dr., Oceanside, Student Center Bldg. 3400, Aztlan Rooms A & B 2nd Floor. SUCCULENT GARDEN WORKSHOP- Led by Kim Cyr ; make a miniature succulent garden to take home. Bring a shallow dish/pot with or without holes in the bottom. Bring in succulent cuttings if you have them, to share with others. Other materials will be provided. Our main speaker is Thom Curry, General Manager of the Temecula Olive Oil Company will present, "Olives and Olive Oil-The Original Super food, A History and Sensory Experience." Thom is a member of the California Olive Oil Council Taste Panel for over a decade. He also has 20 years experience in sales, marketing and judging international wine competition. After the main speaker is done there will be a plant raffle. The meetings generally finish around 3PM. The meeting is open to the public. For more information call 760 721 3281.
