Event Description: The Oceanside Public Library invites families to a special storytime event featuring the popular picture book character “Pete the Cat” on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 330 North Coast Highway. This free and fun event, for kids of all ages and their caregivers, will include stories read aloud, such as Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes and Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, both written by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean; themed crafts; and photo opportunities with the costumed character “Pete the Cat.” Please visit www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org for more information about Oceanside Public Library, and please call (760) 435-5600 if you have questions about this program.
