Event Description: FREE WORKSHOPS ON ZINIO DIGITAL MAGAZINE SERVICE The Oceanside Public Library is pleased to offer Zinio for Libraries. Zinio, the world's largest newsstand, offers full color, interactive digital magazines for your enjoyment. Free workshops on how to use Zinio will be held at the Civic Center Library on June 10, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Foundation Room. The same workshop will be held at the Mission Branch on July 22, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Please call the library to sign up for these free workshops. Through the Library’s website www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org, under the “Library Services” tab, current Oceanside Public Library cardholders have unlimited access to complete digital magazines, which can easily be viewed on most internet-enabled devices inside or outside of the library. Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates a magazine page for page, including full color pictures, intuitive navigation, key word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video. Newsweek, US Weekly, Forbes, ESPN the Magazine and Rolling Stone are just a few of the popular titles available.
