Event Description: 7:30 pm on May 16 and 3:00 pm on May 17 MiraCosta College Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 17 at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall. Admission is $10; students/seniors/staff, $8. The MCCSO final concert of the season welcomes back the fabulous competition-winning pianist and local talent Nicholas King as featured soloist in a concert entitled, “A Salute to the Three B’s.” This concert will finish with King performing the great Concerto No. 1 in D minor by Johannes Brahms. Also featured will be Leonard Bernstein’s playful Overture to Candide and Alexander Borodin’s Polovitsian Dances from his opera Prince Igor. Branden Muresan, conductor.
