Event Description: The TransWorld Motocross SLAM Festival is an action packed annual motocross gathering complete with open-track motocross riding, Kids’ Learn-To-Ride area, Fitz Army FMX Jump Show, the TransWorld SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race, and a giant interactive Vendor Row with displays, demo areas, the newest MX products, and tons of prizes and giveaways. When: Saturday September 27th, 2014 (Gates open at 7:00am) Where: Milestone MX Park, 12685 Holly St, Riverside, CA 92509 (with ALL NEW PARKING AREAS) Cost: FREE TransWorld SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race The highlight and finale to an action packed day is the TransWorld Motocross SLAM Pro Race, a head-to-head “knockout format” race between the sport’s fastest pros on the Milestone MX Supercross track. The stakes are high with winner-take-all prize money, the coveted TransWorld SLAM belt, and the cover of TransWorld Motocross’ December 2014 issue. Past winners include Matt Goerke, Justin Bogle (two-time champion), Will Hahn, and Dean Wilson. Confirmed pro racers for this year’s SLAM shootout include Josh Hill, Jessy Nelson, Nick Schmidt, Adam Enticknap, Nick Wey, Ryan Surratt, Jeremy Byrne with more to be added! The SLAM Pro Race action starts at 3:15pm. Giant Vendor Row The TWMX Slam Festival vendor row includes the best motocross brands showcasing their newest products and offering tons of prizes and giveaways. Vendors this year include: Troy Lee Designs, AXO America Inc, Bills Pipes, Walter's Mercedes Benz, Split Designs Co, Temecula Motorsports, Malcolm Smith Motorsports, Pole Position Raceway, Walters Auto Sales & Service, No Toil, Race Tech Suspension, Action Sports Canopies, DT1 Filters, MTA Distributing, HJC Helmets, and Lifeproof with many more still to be added! Fitz Army FMX Jump Show Are you ready to see one of the most insane freestyle motocross demo's in the world?! Fitz Army is an action packed performance that hosts the biggest tricks, names and mobile freestyle motocross events in the world. Founder and Metal Mulisha athlete Jimmy Fitzpatrick built the show on an adrenaline-choreographed performance. Each member of the Fitz Army freestyle motocross show has proved himself in the action sports industry with multi-time X Games medals, competitions, and world-class tours. There is no other better show than a show demonstrated by Fitz Army! Pro FMX riders from the famed Fitz Army will be showing off their skills at the Milestone MX Park FMX demo compound, flying through the air with show times at 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 2:00pm. Open Track Riding & Kids’ Learn-To-Ride Area All tracks will be open to the public at 8:00 a.m. for minis/women/beginner, novice, and intermediate/pro riders of all ages to enjoy. Milestone’s brand new straight rhythm course will also be open for riders. All open track riding will close at 3:00pm for the TransWorld SLAM Head-To-Head Pro Race. Coach2Ride will be offering free riding lessons for the entire day at our dedicated Kids’ Learn-To-Ride track. Bikes and gear will be provided for Kids’ Learn-To-Ride lessons. Horizon Hobby RC Demo Horizon Hobby will be at the 2014 Transworld SLAM Festival with the hottest radio controlled cars, trucks and aircraft. Throughout the day they will be demoing their newest RC off-road vehicles on the Kids Learn-To-Ride Track including the monster 1/5 scale Losi 5IVE-T and DBXL while capturing the action from the air with the Blade 350QX2 aerial photography quad-copter. Stop by the Horizon booth on vendor row to check out the action. RC demo times are 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30pm. Sony’s Action Cam POV Loaner Program Interested riders will have a chance to capture every thrilling detail of their TWMX Slam Festival riding experience on Sony’s incredible HD Action Cam. Attendees can stop by the Action Cam booth for details on how to capture and keep their SLAM riding footage. Maxima Free Oil Changes Maxima Racing Oils is proud to once again offer FREE OIL CHANGES to attendees of the 2014 TWMX SLAM event. 2 or 4-stroke, they have you covered. Stop by the Maxima Pit next to Langston Racing. Attendees can continue their motocross weekend beyond Saturday and well on into Sunday September 28 with the opening round of the TransWorld Motocross Muscle Milk Race Series Fall Cup, also to be held at Milestone MX Ranch. Attendees planning to stay for the TWMX Race Series event on Sunday may camp at Milestone MX Park on Saturday night but please note that rigs and campers may not be brought into the park until after 3:00pm due to heavy Slam festival traffic. **Please no pit vehicles including side by sides, pit bikes, etc due to heavy Slam traffic inside the park.
