Event Description: The first Oceanside “Sunday’s Art in the Alley” recently took place in Artists Alley with the next event scheduled for July 26th from 10am to 4pm. Free to the public, a stroll down Artists Alley on the last Sunday of each month offers families a chance to not only see various types of art from metal sculpture, painting, to art from recycled bits and pieces but also to see artists in action – actually working on their art while you watch and ask questions. Music fills the air along with an ocean breeze – Artists Alley is located behind 212 N. Coast Hwy between Mission Avenue and Pier View Way. Any artists interested should call JC Gallery and Studio at 760 757-5524, Joey Chavez, or email chavezj777@hotmail.com – entry fees for an artist are $10 for a table, display space and room to create ($20 to sign up on the day itself).
