Event Description: Introduction to QuickBooks Throughout this course, you will have hands-on experience using QuickBooks Pro, software designed to help small- and medium-sized businesses maintain their financial data with ease and accuracy. You will begin with an introduction to basic accounting fundamentals, how to maneuver through the software easily, and basic file management principles. Then you will learn the basic skills needed to effectively deal with customers, vendors, banking transactions and what happens “behind the scenes” as QuickBooks helps you manage financial data, including reports such as the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss. Throughout this course, the instructor will be addressing your real-life bookkeeping issues happening in your business. Supplies: A $10 material fee will be collected in class. Students should bring a USB flash drive. Instructor: Mary Ann Wallner Fee: $105 San Elijo Campus, Room 112 3 Thursdays, 2/20–3/6, 6–9 p.m. or 2 Saturdays, 4/5 & 4/12, 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
