Event Description: The First Tuesday Lecture: The Art of Collecting, featuring Doug Simay, will be Tuesday, October 1, 7:00-8:30pm. Doug Simay is the featured collector in OMA’s inaugural Collectors Series exhibition, Outside: Selections from the Doug Simay Collection. In this lecture, Simay will discuss how he got started collecting, his motivation to support regional artists, tips for new collectors and his adventures as a gallery owner. Each lecture in the series is complimentary for OMA members and $10 for nonmembers. Please RSVP (760) 435-3721 as there is limited seating.
