Event Description: Meeting Notice Carlsbad The Democratic Club of Carlsbad-Oceanside will hold its regular meeting 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, June 27th, at the Carlsbad Woman's Club, 3320 Monroe St., Carlsbad. Topic is the proposed National Health Care System. Speakers will be two club members, Zoltan Lucas, M.D. and William Parks, M.D. Both are affiliated with Physicians for a National Health Program, an organization of 16,000 physicians and health professionals who support a single-payer system.
