Event Description: Learn about the universe at the 9th annual Southern California Astronomy Expo (SCAE) at OPT Telescopes in Oceanside, California on Saturday, July 13th from 10am until 6pm! There will be over 40 companies & organizations on hand to share their knowledge of the night sky and show off the latest telescopes, cameras & other astro products. The day will be filled with kid-friendly booths, talks by leading experts in the field of astronomy, solar viewing, prize giveaways throughout the day, and a giant raffle for prizes worth over $60,000! Directions:
OPT is located one block west of the 5 freeway on Mission Avenue in Oceanside. The building is on the northwest corner of Horne & Mission. Free parking is available at Oceanside High School. The lot entrance is on the south side of Mission Avenue, just before the Highway 5 South onramp.
