Event Description: Interested in ambiguities of perception, Southern California Minimalist Tony DeLap has sought to challenge conceptions of abstraction and illusion for over five decades. Featuring a selection of sculptures, drawings, hybrids, paintings and photographs of noted site-specific sculptures, this exhibition provides a comprehensive look at this distinguished artist’s long career. September 7, 1 pm: A Conversation with Tony DeLap Moderated by Peter Frank and Book Signing of the New Tony DeLap Monograph with Essay by Barbara Rose and Interview with David Pagel Join Tony DeLap and art critic Peter Frank as they discuss Tony DeLap’s 50-year career. This program coincides with the release of Tony DeLap’s monograph featuring an essay by Barbara Rose and an interview with David Pagel. Free for OMA members and $10 for nonmembers.
