Event Description: Experience how Ernest Silva develops his signature iconography during OMA’s Artists@Work: Ernest Silva program on Thursday, June 6, 6-9 p.m. Launched in 2012, the Artists@Work program is designed to provide a first-hand look at the creative process. By commissioning a different artist or artist collaborative to produce an original artwork live in front of guests attendees have the unique opportunity to closely engage with artists in an intimate setting. Each Artists@Work event will showcase an artist whose work is currently on view at the museum, giving an in-depth look at select 2013 OMA exhibitions. All exhibitions will be open for view during each event. Complimentary appetizers and an open beer and wine bar are provided. OMA is pleased to partner with local artisans Stone Brewing Co. and The Privateer Coal Fired Pizza for the June 6th Arists@Work. Admission is free for OMA members and $10 for nonmembers.
