Event Description: The City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation Dept. and the Friends Of Oceanside Parks (non-profit group) are hosting a Fall Festival/Chili-Cook Off on Sat. Nov. 3rd at Heritage Park, 220 Peyri Road, Oceanside. The day will consist of music, entertainment, food vendors, information booths and more!! There will be a Chili-Cook Off with Oceanside Police Dept. competing to repeat their First Place win in 2011. The California Highway Patrol and Oceanside Fire Department will compete with their favorite chili recipes. Directions:
Heritage Park 220 Peyri Road, Oceanside, CA 92054 Heritage Park is located behind the Mission San Luis Rey. Easiest way to get there from 76 or Mission Ave is go north on Douglas. Take a right on Peyri Road (it's where El Camino/Douglas intersect. Overflow parking is available one block past the San Luis Rey Bakery on the right.
