Event Description: Challenging the traditional scale of ceramics, Alex Long will be throwing a 100lb. ceramic urn on a potter’s wheel that will be approximately 4' to 5' tall and 16" wide at OMA’s Artists@Work on Thursday, April 12. On the second Thursday of most months OMA invites you to join us for a creative happy hour from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and experience our newest exciting program, Artists@Work. Watch art come to life as artists produce an original artwork live in front of guests. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with a different diverse artist each month, and get a first-hand look at the creative process while enjoying complimentary appetizers by Bull Taco and Harney Sushi and an open beer and wine bar featuring craft beer from Lagunitas Brewing Company.
