Event Description: Throughout this course, you will have hands-on experience using QuickBooks Pro, software designed to help small—and medium-sized businesses maintain their financial data with ease and accuracy. You will begin with an introduction to basic accounting fundamentals, how to maneuver through the software easily, and basic file management principles. Then you will learn the basic skills needed to effectively deal with customers, vendors, banking transactions and what happens “behind the scenes” as QuickBooks helps you manage financial data, including reports such as the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss. Throughout this course, the instructor will be addressing your real-life booking issues currently happening in your business. Supplies: A $5 materials fee will be collected in class. Directions:
From I-5, take the Manchester Avenue exit in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Go east, approximately one half mile. The campus is on the north side of Manchester Avenue facing the San Elijo lagoon. The campus entrance has a traffic light. From north of the campus, take El Camino Real heading south. El Camino Real merges and becomes Manchester Avenue. The campus will be on the right. Major landmark: A large white, gold-domed Greek Orthodox church is just east of the campus—it is very visible, while the campus blends in with the bluffs behind it.
