Event Description: Microsoft Word is the premier word processing software available today. Students will be introduced to some of the more advanced features, such as using styles and themes; how to insert, create, and change tables; WordArt and Clip Art; understanding and using templates and mail merge. This course focuses on improving your skills to make large documents manageable and professional. You will learn how to format with ease, maneuver in and out of the tabs and ribbons, and how to use some of the automated features which can save valuable time. Students should know how to use the keyboard and mouse, and how to open and save a file. Supplies: A $5 material fee will be collected in class. Students should bring an empty 2 GB flash drive. Instructor: Mary Ann Wallner Fee: $70 Oceanside Campus, Room 4607 2 Saturdays, 1/21–1/28, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
