The Elizabeth Hospice is the oldest and largest nonprofit hospice provider in the region, caring for nearly 500 adults and children each day throughout the County. We are honored to have earned the community's trust as the leading hospice provider for the past 36 years, recognized for our compassionate, expert medical care that focuses on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the seriously ill and their families.
Hospice Care and Support Services for the Community-At-Large
Since 1978, The Elizabeth Hospice has touched the lives of more than 90,000 patients and families in San Diego County and Inland Empire. And for adults and children who are impacted by illness, grief or loss not related to hospice care, the Center for Compassionate Care of The Elizabeth Hospice provides comprehensive counseling and grief support services to the community-at-large, regardless of the type of illness or death experienced.
In addition to comprehensive hospice care for adults, The Elizabeth Hospice offers Children's Services including:
~Pediatric & Perinatal Hospice Care
~Counseling children who are impacted by illness, grief and loss Host to Camp Erin San Diego, part of the national Camp Erin network
The Elizabeth Hospice is a "Level 4 Partner" - the highest designation possible - in the national We Honor Veterans Program, in partnership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
