Summer time-of-use rates arrive June 1, 2018 As warmer weather approaches, it’s important for customers on time-of-use plus pricing plans to be notified of event days. Event days happen when electricity conservation is needed – either to ensure public safety or stabilize the grid. On these days, the price of electricity is higher. Get notified of event days by enrolling in alerts at MyAccount.sdge.com. Click on “Alerts and Subscriptions” and “Sign up for Alerts and Subscriptions.” Summer Season: June 1 to October 31 Seasonal rate adjustments occur at the start of the summer and winter seasons.
