All proceeds from the Walk for Sobriety will benefit McAlister Institute, one of San Diego's leading resources for substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. American Diabetes Association Camp Wana Kura is a 4-day day camp held annually at the Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old living with type 1 diabetes. Teens with diabetes, ages 13-17, also benefit from Camp and serve as role models to the children. Camp will be held from Tuesday, July 24 through Friday, July 27, 2018 at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve. Adults and health care professionals are needed and are encouraged to volunteer!
