The County of San Diego and the San Diego Blood Bank are partnering to host this event, which will take place at the County’s beautiful Waterfront Park on Sunday, July 29th at 7:30am. As one of several signature Live Well San Diego events, the Annual 5K walk/run aims to advance the Live Well San Diego vision and bring together families, friends, congregations, neighbors, and pets and appreciate the beautiful San Diego harbor. The goal of the event is to advance our region, and continue to be healthy, safe and thriving! This year, we are celebrating Everyday Heroes - people who strive to live well every day. They help others through their work, volunteerism, and relationships. They want our community to thrive and they are committed to helping to improve the quality of life of those around them. Be a hero and join us in this beautiful, family-friendly day along the bay, with music, interactive activities and more (including capes!) – all while celebrating health, and wellness.
