MiraCosta College Offers Community Education Courses in Enrichment Activities MiraCosta College’s Community Education is offering the following enrichment, not-for-credit, courses this spring: Golf–Women's Beginner This class is for ladies who are interested in learning about the game of golf in a relaxed group atmosphere. We will cover all the basics, including the swing, etiquette and rules so you will feel comfortable going to the driving range or course to play with friends or colleagues. Enjoy the outdoors, fresh air, make new friends and learn a game that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Everything will be provided; just bring yourself and be ready to have some fun. Fee: $89. Early Bird Special: $79 (Register BEFORE 3/20 for class start date 3/27). Supplies: A $50 material fee will be collected in class for weekly range balls and golf course fee. Location: Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. Time Options: 8 Tuesdays, 3/27-5/15, 9:45-10:45 AM. Golf-Fun and Games This is a class designed for fun. If you are playing golf and getting bored with practice or want to make practicing more fun, this is the class for you! Each class will focus on different aspects of the game. Playing games are both fun and skill-building at the same time. You will learn how to practice in ways that simulate playing on a course. The first part of the class will focus on review of the fundamentals of a certain shot. During the second part of class, we will play a game that will make practice fun and also improve your game. The last class will be an on-course play day ($14 extra fee). Fee: $99. Early Bird Special: $89 (Register BEFORE 3/31 for this rate).
