MiraCosta College Celebrates The Year of the Dog Chinese Lantern Festival MiraCosta College and the Chinese Club invite the public to a captivating and educational celebration of The Year of the Dog Chinese Lantern Festival, February 24, 2018, at the MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus, 1 Barnard Drive. The celebration includes fun activities for the entire family. This free event includes lantern making, Chinese calligraphy workshops and face painting for kids. The Chinese Lantern Festival is sponsored by the San Diego Chinese Women’s Association. The event will be held at the Oceanside Campus Child Development Center (OC8000) on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12:30-3 p.m. About MiraCosta College The MiraCosta Community College District has served the coastal North San Diego County area for over 80 years.
