More than 20% of 11th graders in San Diego report drinking in the past month. - Social host ordinances cover all 18 cities and the unincorporated area of San Diego County. Nearly 500 citizens have been issued for violating social host ordinances. - Anyone allowing minors to drink alcohol will be held accountable and may be cited or arrested and face fines of up to $1,000 or more, serve 6 months in jail, and be billed for law enforcement response.
