Crew was on time (early), fast and communicated thoughtfully with me. The office staff was very easy and amenable to work with-- they adjusted my quote about 6 times and never made me feel like I was exasperating them, which I probably did. They are now my solid go-to for party rentals.
Aug 29, 2018Previous reviewI used SD Party Rentals for my company's summer picnic. I rented canopies, tables, chairs, umbrellas, games, and coolers. They are located in Escondido and my picnic was at Mission Point. The crew arrived on time and set up everything (delivery and set up are paid services). I was concerned that they might be too far away if there was a problem with the order. It turns out I read our contract incorrectly and received 4 fewer umbrellas than I was expecting. Once we figured out what happened they sent down the additional 4 umbrellas right away, it took no time at all. They conveniently invoiced me for them, and they didn't charge a second delivery fee, for which I was grateful.
The crew is polite, professional and hard working. The sales people were responsive when I needed to make changes to my order, or had questions. I would certainly recommend SD Party Rentals for your company events, and I intend to use them again next year.
The canopies and umbrellas improved our picnic 100% from years prior. It sounds silly but when you're having an all day event in the sun, it really make the event nicer and more enjoyable for guests.

Daphne answered the phone (that's a huge plus) and was very friendly. I called her competition first and they either couldn't find my online request form, couldn't find somebody to help me, or they didn't even answer the phone. Actually, I wouldn't even consider them her competition. Thank you Daphne. I'm hoping the pricing is within our event budget.

Amazing! I needed white folding chairs for a bridal shower and couldn't seem to find any chairs under $8 each. Enter SD Party Rentals! The chairs were less than $2 each and were absolutely perfect. I also arranged for delivery, but they were so kind and called me to say that I lived only a few minutes away and could waive delivery and just pick up the chairs myself. It was a really honest way of doing business and I highly respect it.

I had to make a change or two to our order as the event came closer; she could not have been more patient and quick to update the invoice. Super nice delivery crew as well. I have nothing but praise for this wonderful company! Daphne is quick to respond and very helpful! We were able to get table and chair rentals for this holiday week after a very last minute request. We have used them twice now and couldn't be happier with the amazing customer service!

Five Star Event Rentals was so easy to work with. Their professionalism and communication was absolutely unparalleled compared with all of the other party rental services I have used which are extensive!! They had everything I needed and knew exactly what I was asking for and more.. I would definitely recommend Five Star Event Rentals if you are planning something and would like it to be easy and stress free!

Clean and everything.. the reason why i am giving the a 3 star is because we have an appointment with daphny on a Sunday 10am to return the tables and chairs we rented.. And now we are waiting for 30 mins and even tried calling the emergency number many time but didn't pick up..
Just got a call now from Mark telling me to leave the tables and chairs at the back door. Yahooo.. But still i waited for 30 mins..
