Renewal by Andersen of San Diego

We had two large windows in our 1922 home replaced by Renewal by Anderson. The entire process went smoothly and we are 100 percent satisfied! Ryan came out and gave us some ideas and a quote and followed-up when we had questions. The two installers, Victor and Navil did a fantastic job! They were professional, prompt and detail-oriented.
We will definitely use Renewal again!

About a month ago, two Anderson salespeople showed up on our door, which has a clearly visible No Soliciting sign posted. I immediately reminded them of this sign, after opening the door. The salesman were very polite, and began to explain they were not selling anything, or even attempting to sell anything. They wanted us to know that they were doing some work in the neighborhood and wanted to make sure we didn't have any issues or complaints. I was relieved, and let down my guard, which immediately led to the sales pitch...

I reminded them again, of the big red no soliciting sing on the door; to which they ignored.

Fast forward to a month or so later, and we come home to find a an advertisement posted directly over the No Soliciting sign.

We have door to door salesman knocking on our door weekly, if not daily. This is not acceptable, and we will be filing a formal complaint.

We got a new patio door installed by Zibi and Danny. They did an excellent job and thank you for being accommodating and doing an installation on a Saturday.

Anderson products are expensive but the quality of the patio door is excellent. The moldings and hardware options were great.

Good luck getting a detailed written quote out of this company if you don't want the work done right away.

Dana Doer came out to our home to check out what we wanted and give us a quote. She said they could do 3 quotes, right away, 30 days (or maybe 3 months-I forget) or a year. I told her a year because we are in the middle of a major remodel of our master bedroom and there were some other windows whose opening would require some work before it was ready for install as my husband is doing the work but we would have done some windows now but she didn't seem interested in bidding out the job in that manner. The "quote" we got was a series of screen shots from her Ipad that did not spell out anything. In fact, we could not even see most of them because they were so small. It certainly did not rise to the level of a bona fide quote in our opinion. Very unprofessional. We were also supposed to get one with white exterior and one with colored exterior. Only got the white exterior.

I tried emailing her back but my email was rejected by "Daemon". I then tried calling her cell. No call back but got another "screen shot" for the colored exterior. At that point we called the company. Finally talked to the Sales Manager and lodged a complaint. He was going to put together a real quote and email that to me on Monday. Did not get it.

Their loss. We signed a contract last night with American Vision windows for the Anlin Brand which is a local brand with wonderful reviews. We are getting most of the windows done now and others as we become ready for them. This is a 19 window job.

We had been quite impressed with Anderson's product but did not like getting jacked around. Maybe they thought we didn't have the financial capacity and decided that we weren't worth bothering with because we have lived in the same not very fancy house for 46 years.

However, because we don't run out and buy the latest gadget and the most house we could afford, we have lots and lots of money in the bank, a great credit score, and a revolving line of credit. We would have paid cash. Again, their loss. I am sure Dana is on commission. Maybe she should watch "Pretty Woman" which illustrates the concept that people who don't look like they have money to spend, often do.

Zibi and Danny did an outstanding job of installing our new windows! It was definitely a 5 star job. I was told prior to their arrival on time that it would take 2 days for the window and sliding door replacement to be completed. However, they were able to finish the work in one day. They did an excellent job and left our home cleaner than before they came. Thanks! We luv our new windows and sliding door!!!

I also want to thank Michael Johnson. His salesmanship was easy to understand and not pushy. What a pleasure to work with him.

Just had my windows replaced yesterday. I am so pleased with them. My installer Chris was amazing. Not only did he move and cover all my furniture. He cleaned up and put everything back. He also knew I work from home so he was very accommodating to my needs. I will say they are not the cheapest windows out there but you get what you pay for. I ordered black on black windows and they look awesome.

Extreme telemarketers. I contacted them for an estimate and had a pleasant experience with the in person salesman. However, I discovered that they included my number on a sales call list. I called the company and tried to have my number removed and was told that they will remove my number. Regrettably I continue to have daily sales calls.

Do not get an estimate unless you want you phone to keep ringing.

We had eight windows and two doors (one sliding and one a French door) installed many years ago by Renewal by Anderson and they have been outstanding in their performance. All work completed in two days and spot on (no issues).
Years later they needed a tune up and Rikky and Javier were great at going thru all the windows and fixed a door handle issue. Excellent Job! Would use again.

Couldn't ask for better quality window but don't sit there & pressure me into a sale @ 16 k for 2 sliders & IF, IF, I purchase right now it's 10k

You lost a sale completely by NOT honoring the commercial & by trying to force a 6 thousand dollar difference if I pressure broke.
Buy 1 window & get the other 1/2 off.
