Conover Tires Wheels and Service

They did my alignment, reset all the self driving sensors, and straightened my steering wheel, for half of what I paid for an alignment in San Marcos a few years ago. The restroom was super clean and they have great customer service and military discount!

I was able to make an appointment to have my wheels aligned the same day. They offered a free shuttle to my home, but decided to wait. They give first time customers a free sandwich at the onsite cafe. It was excellent and so big, I could only finish half. Everyone was very friendly from the receptionist to the mechanic. My car was ready when promised and the alignment made a huge difference in how it drove. I had asked them to give me an estimate for repairing a'scraping' noise from me running over one of those concrete 'stops' in parking lots that I didn't see. I was afraid it would be $$$. The mechanic said it was some panel? I had knocked loose and fixed it for free.
I am an elderly female and know from experience that auto repair shops sometimes will try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I really appreciate Conover in that they didn't do this, in fact went above and beyond to be helpful. My bill was the going rate for 4 wheel alignments and even gave out a free cookie to sweeten the deal.

Be prepared to be without a vehicle all day. The slowest place around. This is my 4th horrible experience in a row and I'm finally writing a review because it appears to be standard here.

Best auto repair place you can find in Oceanside!I damaged my metal shield (under my car) while driving through a flood in one of the worst rainy weather conditions. I couldn't remove the metal shield, so it was half stuck and hanging under my car, and I had to drive around with the metal hanging out the bottom. It was extremely scary as I thought I would get into an accident. It made a chalk-screech sound as I drove, scraping the metal against the ground. Being relatively new to San Diego, a friend recommended this repair shop, and said this repair shop has great reviews and trustworthy. Initially skeptical, I visited and was assisted by William, who provided exceptional service. First-time customers receive a free breakfast sandwich from the attached cafe, a pleasant surprise with a complimentary cat by your side while you wait for them to service your car. William was honest about the necessary repairs, avoiding the upsell tactics often encountered elsewhere. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and it took them 20 minutes to service my car. Super happy with this place and their service. Will definitely be back! And William deserves a raise for the best customer service!

I have never wanted to leave a review more in my life and I am genuinely shocked at what an amazing experience I had at this establishment. Went in for a flat repair and was greeted by the owner who is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. They have a cafe so I had an ice tea while they repaired my flat and they were fast and efficient. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and it's the best experience I've ever had at an auto shop. HIGHLY recommend!

I take auto maintenance seriously and enjoy doing what I can on my own. When brakes, tires, certain fluids, belts, and other complicated components need maintenance or replacement, I count on an honest auto repair shop.

I'm thankful for the many past reviewers of Conover to help connect me with Daniel (Owner). I've brought both of our vehicles in for specific service and have not been disappointed.

If you choose to wait, Conover offers a quaint little cafe with Wifi, non-alcoholic beverages, and light breakfast/lunch/snack options in an adjoining space just through a screen door; it's also a quiet spot to get work done.

I have purchased tires from another big box for years, and it has always been complicated to schedule alignments, rotations/balances, and brake checks with multiple businesses. Conover is a one-stop shop and can take care of it all in a single visit.

While Daniel and his team may not be the lowest price, they are HONEST and will not try to sell you on parts & service that are not needed yet; they may actually save you money.

If you need peace-of-mind with auto repairs/maintenance, Conover can be the solution. I've already referred Daniel to a few people who were being outrageously taken advantage of by other dealers/shops in the area.

I will confidently refer family, friends, and others to Conover.

Nice auto shop got my alignment done here they took good care of me they gave me a ride back home & offered to pick me up also they have a good coffee shop next door if you are a first time customer to the auto shop they give you a free sandwich which is generous thing to do! On top of that they gave me a delicious cook when I went to go pick up my truck

Conover is my go to for making sure my aging Toyota Tacoma is performing at its best. Dan and team provide an exceptional customer service experience, communicating early and often through out the service. As a bonus, there's always some delicious fresh baked cookies waiting on the counter, and the shop is connected to Come On Over Cafe (see what they did there?!?) which is another Oceanside gem. Also, they maintain a fleet of e-bikes that you can borrow to get around while your vehicle is in for service, how cool is that??? Super nice local tire shop and they helped me out with finding a couple of tires that aren't the most common size. They were able to get me in and out fairly quick and have a cool little coffee shop attached to it while you wait. So I was able to get my morning brew and new tires on my Del Sol all in one shot. Super happy with the service and will be back when any of my cars need tires from now on or if I need some coffee lol.
