Captain's Grounds Coffee

Definitely an easy location to order from! The staff is friendly too! Waits never seem too long to make an order and even waiting for food/drinks is only a few minutes. They have plenty of different coffee options and a decent amount of food options. I absolutely love the Mexican mocha, either iced or hot! Their blended chais are also other delicious options.

There is a decent amount of seating outside and the same parking situation as revolution roasters. Street parking is the easiest option.

I live in OC and I always make sure to drop by here every time I drive up to SD. I am absolutely in LOVE with their blended banana chai! It's smooth and refreshing at the same time.

A cheaper latte but not the best coffee! It can't compete with its neighbor coffee shop! Nice baristas!

Solid local spot in south Oceanside. I love walking up the window and ordering after a surf. Not my fav drip coffee but great service and a cool local vibe. Order an Americano instead of the drip.

Nice baristas, fine brewed coffee. Not special or exceptional, but really nice. Lots of outdoor tables to read or people watch. Down to earth

Super cute store including a coffee shop. The thrift store buys clothes by appointment only. It looks a bit more exclusive than buffalo exchange so be prepared. We got an iced americano and it was spot on. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great coffee! Great ambience! Great staff! I have tried their neighbor and it was "meh" at best. I highly recommend Captain's! I am in Oceanside 5-6 times a year and I highly recommend!

Staff is polite and are great behind bar. My drinks always have the same consistent taste. They also have alternative non dairy milk:)

I have to say my cappuccino with oat Milk was very tasty smooth no bitterness whatsoever. Very pleased with the service, was over the top friendly and helpful.

The real local spot for coffee. Good drinks. Chill people. Avoid the hoity toity stuff and find a place to call home here.
