Anything But Ordinary Catering

I have worked with Cassie several times and she is wonderful! The food is not only delicious but she is so creative in presentation and style! Everyone at my daughter's bridal shower raved about the appetizers and cake pops! Absolutely will use again and highly recommend!

Recently had catering from this business for my husband's 40th birthday, and everything went great.
Cassie is very effective and quick to communicate and emails. The staff were great, very friendly and super professional. Food was very good, the cheese platter was delicious and greatly designed.
The fact that they brought real plates&forks and not disposable ones, was very impressive. I try to avoid using plastic/paper plates and utensils, and this was great. They cleaned up and packed all the left overs away. Highly recommend this business.

Cassie was easy to work with. The desserts were beautiful and delicious. The proof is that nothing was left by the end of the evening. The setup of the dessert table was excellent. I could not have been happier .

We had the good fortune to have ABO cater my mother's 80th birthday party in San Diego last weekend. 100% would recommend. The waitstaff was perfect, helpful and unobtrusive. The food was delectable. They brought everything we needed for a delightful event. If you are considering using them, we highly recommend you do so. As the adage goes: you get what you pay for. They added so much to our gathering.

As a retired Event Planner I really put this catering company through the ringer! My Niece was getting married, so the pressure was on. I had to make everything perfect. My Niece is like a Daughter to me. It all HAD to be great! I am the Queen of details. I had many conversations with Cassie the owner of Anything But Ordinary. Cassie was calm and understood why this event needed to be just right. All this said. Isn't that the way we all feel about our events? The cost, the planning the stress...... It goes on and on. Well, the good news is you will never have to worry about the catering with Anything But Ordinary. The food will be great, the staff will be attentive, there will be plenty of food and then some. I would always recommend Cassie and Anything But Ordinary. Stop shopping for caterers. Anything But Ordinary is the BEST!!!!!!

We hired Anything but Ordinary for the catering at my daughter's wedding and they helped to make it a wonderful event. The staff were warm and friendly and let us know what they needed. The food was very good and served well. The wedding cake was delicious and presented in a beautiful fashion. Most of all they were flexible to our requests, a changeover from wedding setup to table setup while guests were in another part of the home. I thought it may be difficult, but they made it smooth and easy. Also another win, they left the kitchen spotless. Would highly recommend them.

This my first time to use Anything But Ordinary! I found them on Yelp and after reading reviews and looking at other photos from previous events they did not disappoint us! From the start of the contract very easy to express what I wanted till the final set up it was impressive! For this event a bridal shower tea themed party, the details for the tables, the food and beverage tables were beautifully done. Thank you so much to Cassie the chef and whole team of Anything But Ordinary!! My family and friends were impressed and will refer you!!

My best friend got married and she hired this venue. We were very satisfied.

Service: the team arrived early and prepared everything in advance. Brought nice chairs and set ups. They were very kind and easy to work with. Service was very nice throughout the whole dinner. Decorations were so pretty and photogenic. After the event, they cleared the area like they were never there.

Food: appetizers were perfect with pre-meal wines. My favorite was bacon wrapped scallops. Salad was ordinary, nothing to complain about. We had options for main course: steak or white fish. I chose steak and it was cooked perfectly- medium. Sauce and sides were great addition.

Five star professionals. I strongly recommend this place!
